Pure Keto Reviews is an independent website about the ketogenic diet, low-carb eating and keto recipes. It is run by a small independent editorial team based in Quebec City, Canada. This page explains how our articles are made, which sources we rely on, and how to reach us if something is wrong.
How we choose topics
We write about the questions people actually ask about keto: what to eat, how to get started, common mistakes, and what the evidence says about benefits and risks. We prefer fewer, more complete guides over many thin pages, and we regularly merge or retire articles that no longer meet our standards.
How articles are written
Articles are published under the pen name Emma Collins. We use AI writing tools to help research and draft them. Every draft is built from a research step that looks for authoritative sources first, and the links we cite are checked to make sure they point to real, live pages. We do not let the tools invent sources, statistics or links: claims about health should be supported by a source you can open and read yourself.
Our content is general information. It is not written or reviewed by a doctor or a registered dietitian, and it is not a substitute for professional advice. See our medical disclaimer.
Our sources
When we cite research or health guidance, we look for:
- peer-reviewed research (for example on PubMed or PubMed Central),
- government and public health agencies (such as the NIH, CDC, FDA, USDA or Health Canada),
- universities, major medical centers and recognized professional bodies.
We avoid using forums, social media posts, or other blogs as evidence. When the research on a topic is limited or mixed, we say so.
Keeping content up to date
Nutrition science changes. We review and rewrite older articles when better evidence becomes available, when a page is incomplete, or when readers point out a problem.
Products and affiliate links
Some pages mention keto products and may contain affiliate links. If you buy through one of these links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This does not change what we write: a product mention is not a medical recommendation, and supplements are not a replacement for a balanced diet.
Corrections and feedback
If you find an error, an outdated fact or a broken source, please email contact@pureketoreviews.com or use our contact page. We review every report and correct the article when it is wrong.
